Excellent follow-up to the first book. We discover what happened to William and Diana after they jumped off the cliff. Obviously, they survived or there would be no follow-ups... William was unable to keep a diary when they were living wild, but wrote up the story as soon as he was able. It's this narrative that Joan and her husband read when they have a free moment from escaping the country.Their escape has not gone unnoticed, and there are people out there who want them found, and engage the best to bring about revenge and 'justice'.
The narratives are well written and a pleasure to read. Diana is as forthright as ever, and proves herself to be resourceful, and with great depths of endurance. What a woman! Those Ancient Greeks certainly were a superior bunch!
Lots of tension and suspense, great story-lines in both time periods, you'll love this book as much as the first.
